VMHB Established in 1893, the Virginia Magazine of History & Biography (VMHB), the quarterly journal of the Virginia Museum of History & Culture, publishes articles and book reviews on Virginia and southern history.

Not a member but need access to a past issue for research?
Digital issues of the VMHB are available online for subscribers of JSTOR's Arts & Sciences V series. Our library staff is also happy to help with specific articles from historical issues. Please contact a staff member with specific requests or questions at [email protected]

Print copies of current and past issues of the VMHB are available from the Museum Store for $4.00 each, plus $8.95 shipping and handling. While issues are not available for purchase online, email inquiries are welcome.
