Richmond, Va – Raise a glass with the Virginia Museum of History & Culture and celebrate Virginia Wine Month at the third annual Virginia Vines wine festival on Saturday, October 21. This year’s event will highlight Virginia varietals such as Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Viognier, and Chardonnay, with wine selections from some of Virginia’s best wineries and vineyards. Guests can also enjoy live jazz, food trucks, and after-hours access to the Apollo: When We Went to the Moon exhibition on display now through December 31, 2023.

From the Blueridge Mountains to the Eastern Shore, Virginia’s five geographic regions support more than 28 varieties of grapes on over 4,000 acres of land, making the Commonwealth one of the top five wine-producing regions in the country. Virginia Vines is a great opportunity for guests to explore Virginia’s wine culture and learn more about the unique flavors, aromas, and textures each wine has to offer.

Virginia Vines is the third in a series of events throughout the fall celebrating the history of alcohol in the Commonwealth. For more information about Virginia Vines or to purchase tickets, visit VirginiaHistory.org/Libations.
