The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is lead by Jamie O. Bosket. He has served as President & CEO since 2017, guiding the museum's strategic direction and operations. He is aided by a distinguished Board of Trustees, a six person executive team, and a highly capable staff.
The VMHC is owned and operated by the Virginia Historical Society—a private, non-profit organization. It is the oldest cultural organization in Virginia, and one of the most distinguished history organizations in the nation.
