Art & Architecture
The fine arts of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, architecture, music, and poetry allow the fullest expression and display of an artist’s imagination, and they are vehicles for the stimulation of the intellect. For those reasons, they have traditionally been considered the highest form of artistic endeavor. They provide artists the means to record events, to highlight landscape settings, to create buildings that do more than shelter, and in portraiture they allow the viewer to see figures from the past as well as the present.
